33 days with no processed food.

I have been doing really well without eating any of the processed foods I love. Well, I thought I loved these foods but I think it was just puppy love, if puppies were made of MSG. Here I am at 33 days into this and all I have eaten are fruits and veggies. I feel a sense of accomplishment and pride. I did eat something different this evening and dunno if I felt guilty or not. I made white rice in my rice cooker. I did overeat and for that I am not too happy. There are worse things in life, but it still feels bad. The meal was delicious and I even named it... BEAN STROGANOFF.

Here is the recipe before I forget it

Ingredients
1 can black beans (drain half the liquid)
2 avocados
1 med to large tomato
2 cloves garlic
1 serrano chili
3 cups cooked white rice

In blender (Vitamix) add slice tomato, avocados, garlic, and can of black beans and 1/2 the liquid. Blend on #1 until tomato liquifies (tamp down). Once it gets going move to #4. After a couple minutes add 2 cups white rice. Mix for an additional 2 minutes. Serve over a cup of rice and enjoy! It stared out as a guacamol but quickly turned into this.

It was a really rich and filling meal. I enjoy making things happen with my Vitamnix.

I have no regrets for today. I love that I am eating so many food that are actually good for me, no matter how bad I feel about eating them.
